Да и ещё – для фразы «потому что я приехал по работе» (прошедшее время) перевод «because I’m going to work» (Present Continuous переводимый либо настоящим, либо будущим временем) я нахожу несколько неподходящим.
Русским выражениям «позавтракать» и «поужинать» больше соответствуют «to have breakfast» и «to have dinner» и перевод данных русских глаголов глаголом «to eat» сильно сбивает с толку.
Поэтому пока to eat/ate.
Если написали we ate this morning, то завтракали, we ate last yesterday — ужинали.
Мvery good thes lessen thanks
M — Thanks, but ate at the hotel with my daughter.
Thanks, but (I) ate at the hotel with my daughter.
We need a car or our daughter»
We need a car for our daughter»
