Then I do have time for coffee. — Почему не Then I have time for coffee. Объясните, пожалуйста.
И почему What’s your friends name? Я думаю, здесь надо friend’s.

«Then I do have time for coffee» – более «усиленное» выражение. Таким образом ставится акцент на действии. В русском это выражается перестановкой слов в предложении. Нейтральное предложение звучит примерно так – «В таком случае у меня есть время для кофе». Чтобы сделать акцент на то, что именно на кофе время найдётся предложение можно перестроить таким образом: «В таком случае есть у меня время для кофе.»– и выделить слово «есть» интонацией. В английском очень жесткий порядок слов в предложении и подобный фокус с перестановкой слов сделать невозможно. Зато можно выделить глагол с помощью «усиливающего» вспомогательного глагола «do» и интонации.

Немного неправильно написал. Акцент ставится конечно не на слове «кофе» а на слове «есть».

почему вопрос «Как долго магазины открыты»? пишется по — разному : How long are the stores open? и How late are stores open? Как правильно?
